My next two articles are timely and might be of interest to you.
Next week I will be writing about product planning for the year. You have a myriad of choices to include in your product - new ideas, new add ons, new features, tech debt, improvements and so on. How do you allocate? It’s bit of an art and I’ll discuss some considerations that will help you decide the right mix.
The new year will bring new product review with management. I will share my suggested format for formal product reviews.

My 2023 in brief
The first quarter of 2023 was very stressful for me and my family. My job was getting worse by the day. We lost our father in law in Pune, India. And in May, I was let go.
I decided to take a break and did some solo travel. I visited my aging parents in New Delhi and went to the southern part of India to see ancient temple architecture. I also explored a lot in New Delhi where I was born. I loved this solo travel and I recommend everyone to do it at least once. You can find my pics on Facebook.
Then we went to Europe as a family. And some local trips in the USA.
I am not sure what to do next. I am thinking of offering myself for consulting, coaching or fractional roles.
For 2024, I am :
Starting a new podcast on PM
Create a course, code named “Becoming a revenue centric PM”
Continue to coach at PM studio at Berkeley
Continue to advise at Berkeley Skydeck
