Hello Deepak sir. Do you think it makes sense to use this template to dissect an existing feature? Ours is a large B2B fintech product, it has grown so large that we don’t have a document describing all the features and use cases within every feature. I was looking for ways to draw a feature tree, on seeing this thought why can’t use this to dissect the product and in process we also will document or in many cases even find why we even built something in the first place. Your thoughts will be useful to me. Thanks
Sounds like a good idea.
But rather than a feature tree. How about you document
- customer segment
- Use cases they use your product for
- features used in each case
- value obtained from features
- current gaps in feature set.
Do it from a user's perspective.
almost like a miniature business model canvas.
Good topic for me to write on.
Look forward to it sir.
