How to look at Growth as a B2B Product Manager
Every PM is responsible for growth. But how to think about growth?
Hello PMs
As I mentioned in my previous newsletter, I am on vacation with family in Europe. We are attending a wedding in Florence. Since we had already seen Florence, we decided to see other parts of Europe. As you are reading this, I am in Salzburg, Austria. My family is nuts on Sound of Music and hope to do a re-enactment of The Hills Are Alive …. I hope it’s not too embarrassing. :-)
Let me share some of my earlier writings when this newsletter had fewer subscribers.

In the first article, “All product managers are responsible for growth”, I walk through how to read an Income Statement. You should learn to read an Income Statement so you can understand the levers of growth.
In the second article, “How product managers can help grow the top line”, I delve deeper into how you can find revenue growth, which is the top line.
In the third article, “Growth strategies for Product Manager”, I further drill down to specific sources of growth. Which growth lever you pick will depend largely on the stage of your company.
In the fourth and final article today, “Bottom line growth" for product managers”, I talk about cost management to grow profitability, the bottom line. Just revenue is not important, you have to make money too.

Hope you all have a great long weekend ahead.
Ciao
