B2B Product Management and my intro
Every tuesday, I write about my learnings in B2B product management in this newsletter. Today’s topic was meant to be on whole product thinking for product managers. Unfortunately, I was not able to complete.
My excuse?
Backstory - I was laid off from my role in May and I decided to take a short sabbatical. I travelled to India to meet my elderly parents, and also do some solo travel. My goal was to see places that I had not seen starting from my home town of New Delhi. I also travelled to southern India to see ancients temple architectures from the 10th century.
You can see pictures of my journey on my Facebook page. There are multiple posts.

I wish there was a better way to share travel photos which can include some commentary, and better classification and allow others to contribute. Does this exist?
I returned home to the bay area this weekend and unfortunately came down with a flu bug. It will take a few days to recover. That’s my excuse. I was not able to complete my article. It’s in a draft state. I tried to use ChatGPT to complete but it made a bit of a mess. So I will publish the whole product thinking article next week.
Here is a sneak peak on the topics.
Meanwhile, since my last intro, new PMs have subscribed to this newsletter. Thank you. Here is my brief intro and a link to two of my most read articles.
I started my product journey in a startup called iCharts in 2009. Prior to that I was in Big 5 consulting for over 12 years. I even had my own startup in my early days when I was still in New Delhi. How I landed up in this role is a story I mentioned in a previous newsletter.
After that I joined SugarCRM where I was fortunate to launch multiple products. And most recently, I helped Brightedge build a new marketing automation product which went to beta to 25 customers. Unfortunately, they decided to focus on their core SEO product which was not a fit for me.
Here are two of my recent articles that had a few eyeballs. Please let me know what you think.
All product managers are responsible for growth
Growth strategies for B2B product managers
Meanwhile, I started writing a book called “The introverted product manager”. All my life I have been an introvert which is not a happy ground for a PM role. But I adapted.
In this eBook, I share my techniques on various situations that are challenging for an introvert PM - be it customer meetings, presentation to execs or networking events. I am hoping to finish the book in the next 30 days.
Would you like a copy? It’s free for my newsletter subscribers.
I am also offering a free 30 minute consultation for the next few weeks to talk about any topic in B2B product management. I am happy to discuss B2C issues, but I don’t have experience so my inputs will be mostly generic.
or you can simply subscribe to this free newsletter and join on this PM journey with me.
Thank you.
