Game theory, at its core, is the study of strategic decision-making. It's a framework that helps us understand how rational individuals or entities interact and make choices when their outcomes depend on the choices of others. For product managers, this means understanding how competitors might react to your product launches, how customers might make choices between similar offerings, and how to optimize your product strategy to achieve the best possible outcome.
But before that, we need to understand what is game theory.
There are many sources but I like this Youtube video which explains how game theory is played out in nature.
